As in the previous year, Elomech is supporting the Kaiserswerther Diakonie in Düsseldorf with a generous donation. 2,000 euros were handed over for two important projects: The Florence Nightingale Hospital is adapting to the individual needs of patients with dementia with its ‘dementia-sensitive hospital’ pilot project. Trained staff, personalised care and a specific room design ensure safety, orientation and a speedy recovery. The hospital clown helps very young patients to recover. With hand puppets and a lot of humour, ‘Clownie’ makes them forget their worries, fears and homesickness for a moment. After all, laughter is the best medicine! We are delighted to be able to make a contribution to this.
